Adventure Schools Middle School Program

Adventure Schools Middle School Program is an academic growth oriented middle school with a focus on preparing students for higher education. Aiming to prepare students to be ready for high school and beyond, Adventure Schools Middle School Program affords students an opportunity to see what lay ahead for them. They will interact with subjects in the way expected in higher grades, while still understanding that they are new to these expectations. This gives students the chance to preview and interact with higher learning expectations but with the safety of a middle school setting. With this in mind, students will learn to make the transition from elementary to high school in an environment where they can adapt to the new challenges ahead earlier than most middle school students.

Unlike most charter schools, Adventure Schools Middle School offers above average opportunity for athletic engagement. Due to the structure of the campus with a well sized athletic field, Adventure Schools Middle School is able to offer electives such as Flag Football, Flag Rugby, Ultimate Frisbee and more. As well as other such outdoor activities being incorporated into the core subjects, like Science and Social Studies. Aside from the four core subjects, Mathematics, Science, ELA and Social Studies, students are offered elective choices ranging from art and music to salsa dancing and a poetry journal.

With Adventure Schools Middle School going into its second year and expanding everyday, currently we serve students in grades 6th, 7th and 8th.
